These piglets are about four weeks old. They are ready to be separated from their mother,(weaned). Four weeks is not a standard wean off time, most heavily commercialed farms wean off at about two weeks of age.

This baby has just been weaned off, he looks like he will be making lots of new friends in the near future. Often many pigs are sorted barrows from gilts, boys from girls, so that the females get a higher protein feed.
